Characters

Julia- is the main character of this story. In this story Julia and her best friend Patrick have to make a project about an animal for a project in school but, they don't know what to choose.Finally patrick thought of the idea to have silk worms as there animal.Julia did not want to do the sikworm project. Although in Julia's culture this food is common, Julia hates kimche! Julia came up with a nick- name for her brother, it's snotbrain!but, most of the time she gets is trouble for calling him names.
Patrick-is Julia's neighbor and best friend. They were best friends ever since Julia moved into town. Usually, whenever Patrick is over, he has kimche. Yes, he loves it. es telling facts about the book of world records. Patrick didn't know that Julia didn't want to do the project.

Mr.Dixon- is the kind man that lent them the mulberry leaves because he has the only mulberry tree in the town. He was a different color than Julia and Patrick and he was also very generous.

Setting

Project Mulberry takes place in a town called Plainfield where Julia lives with her mom, dad, and brother. Her mom is from Korea so there is alot of information about her culture and Korea as well.

Problem

The problem started when Patrick was alittle to eager to do the silkworm project that Julia's mother suggested and never asked Julia if she wanted to do the project, just assuming that she would like to. After Patrick's sudden decision about the project Julia transforms from Julia to Agent Julia always trying ot find ways to get out of the project, but making it seem like she is interested in the project. This eventually leads to fights small fights between them.

Point of View

The story is told from Julia's point of veiw I know this because it keep saying I and Me. It also told about Julia's problems and her feelings though out the story. The story is also kind-of like a dairy with Julia as the writer of it.

Plot

First,julia does not want to do the project.Then,

Climax

The climax started when Julia's mom gave Julia and Patrick the idea to raise silkworms for the Wiggle project. After they had the silk from the silkworms, Julia would embroider something to do with the project. It ended when Julia and Patrick had the silk, and also the moths. They got second place in the contest that they entered in, but the first place person had been working on raising trout for 3 years, and Julia and Patrick decided that he deserved the first place prize.

Resolution

The problem was resolved when Julia and Patrick both revealed their fears about this project. Then they each helped each other in different ways. They helped each other get through their problems and because of their teamwork they won a prize for their amazing work.

Author's Message

The lesson of this story is to trust your partner- or the person that you are working with. AKA be honest with people and trust that they can handle what you have to say. Never tell someone that you have a problem with the project at the last minute when you have known that you didn't want to do the project all along.
